Lingít Ḵusteeyí Daat Yéi Jinéix’i
The Heritage Department is responsible for the documentation, preservation and celebration of Teslin Tlingit Ha Kus Teyea (‘Our Way’) – our culture, language, art and history.
The Heritage Department is located at the Teslin Tlingit Heritage Centre and works in partnership with the Lands and Resources Department to manage land-based heritage – traditional knowledge, historic sites, heritage trails and resources, sacred places and cemeteries or burial grounds.
